Each year, over 100 candidates apply via <strong>Tuition Fee Waiver<\/strong> program. VU Foundation supports this initiative and annually <strong>co-finances<\/strong> the &#8220;Tuition Fee Waiver&#8221; program from the return on endowment capital investments and targeted donations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Year 2020: \u20ac18.6K<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We allocated an additional <strong>\u20ac18.6K<\/strong> to the \u201cTuition Fee Waiver\u201d program for the 2020\u20132022 academic years (\u20ac12.1K from investment returns; \u20ac6.5K from targeted donations). This extra funding from the VU Foundation enabled <strong>eight talented master\u2019s students<\/strong> from Turkey, Albania, Nigeria, India, Kosovo, and South Korea to study in various VU programs: English Philology (Faculty of Philology), Finance and Banking (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), Eastern European and Russian Studies (Institute of International Relations and Political Science), International Business Management (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), International and European Law (Faculty of Law), Molecular Biotechnology (Life Sciences Center), and Digital Marketing (Business School).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Year 2021: \u20ac13K<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We allocated an additional <strong>\u20ac13K<\/strong> to the \u201cTuition Fee Waiver\u201d program for the 2021\u20132023 academic years. This extra funding from the VU Foundation enabled <strong>seven talented master\u2019s students<\/strong> from Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Egypt to pursue studies in various VU programs: English Philology (Faculty of Philology), Software Systems (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics), International Communication (Faculty of Communication), International Business Management (Kaunas Faculty), International and European Law (Faculty of Law), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences), and International Project Management (Business School).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Year 2022: \u20ac8,5K<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We allocated an additional<strong> \u20ac8.5K<\/strong> to the \u201cTuition Fee Waiver\u201d program for the 2022\u20132024 academic years. This extra funding from the VU Foundation enabled <strong>six talented master\u2019s students<\/strong> from New Zealand, Georgia, Albania, and Pakistan to pursue studies in various VU programs: English Language Studies (Faculty of Philology), Mathematics (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics), International and European Law (Faculty of Law), Eastern European and Russian Studies (IIRPS), Molecular Biology (Life Sciences Center), and Marketing and Integrated Communication (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Year 2023: \u20ac8,5K<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We allocated an additional <strong>\u20ac8.5K<\/strong> to the \u201cTuition Fee Waiver\u201d program for the 2023\u20132025 academic years. This extra funding from the VU Foundation enabled <strong>six talented master\u2019s students<\/strong> from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia to pursue studies in various VU programs: Strategic Economics, Eastern European and Russian Studies, English Philology, International Project Management, Digital Marketing, and Marketing and Integrated Communication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Year 2026: \u20ac10K<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We allocated an additional <strong>\u20ac10K<\/strong> to the \u201cTuition Fee Waiver\u201d program for the 2026\u20132028 academic years.
