Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration<\/strong> (VU FEBA) introduces its Endowment Sub-fund<\/strong> and invites the public, faculty partners and friends as well as the Alumni community to contribute to the education of the next generation of economics and management professionals and to the creation of innovation and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

<\/h4>\n

VU FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION<\/h4>\n

VU FEBA is a leader<\/strong> in training professionals in economics, finance, business, marketing, accounting, and human resource management. The mission of the faculty is to unite professionals in economics and management<\/strong>, who develop international level studies, science and contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2021, as many as 53% of all students in the country who have chosen a Bachelor’s degree in economics will be studying at VU FEBA.<\/p>\n

VU FEBA is an open faculty<\/strong>, a recognised partner of the international academic community, which cooperates with business and international organisations. In 2021, VU FEBA was awarded the international CEEMAN accreditation<\/strong>, proving that the faculty\u2019s operational management meets international quality requirements for educational organisations. VU FEBA is currently ranked among the top 400 universities in the world in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 in the field of Economics.<\/p>\n

VU FEBA is also proud of its large alumni community<\/strong>, which includes many well-known Lithuanian public figures working in private and public sectors, international organizations or running their businesses.<\/p>\n

ENDOWMENT SUB-FUND<\/h4>\n

VU FEBA Endowment Sub-fund is a sustainable and intelligent<\/b>\u00a0finance management model, where the received funds are invested in various asset classes and the\u00a0return on investment<\/b>\u00a0is allocated annually to the needs of the faculty.<\/p>\n

\n

VU Foundation’s investment strategy is in line with the best international practice: diversified financial instruments, risk management, investing in a global market. The Sub-fund\u2019s capital is invested <\/b>together with the main Fund\u2019s capital. An allocation ratio of 2.5% (or individually agreed) is used to calculate the annual payout to VU FEBA. The part of the investment gain that exceeds the payout is reinvested.<\/p>\n

Because of reinvesting<\/b>, the value of the Sub-fund will grow exponentially <\/b>over the years. Check out the simulation below on how the initial capital of EUR 100,000 will grow over the next 100 years and what return it will bring to VU FEBA.<\/div>\n
