In 2025, the Mantvydas Juozapavičius Named Scholarship was established for VU students and researchers who are also alumni of Vilnius Lyceum. The aim of the scholarship is to encourage academic excellence and the pursuit of a research career. It is a one-time scholarship of up to €7,500, which may be used to cover expenses related to studies and research, including internships, research visits, materials, literature, databases, prototypes, and similar costs.
The scholarship is funded from the investment returns and targeted donations of the Mantvydas Juozapavičius (1976–2023) Endowment Sub-Fund, established in 2024. The subfund was created at the VU Foundation from the inheritance of their son, who passed away in 2023, by Mantvydas’s parents, philanthropists Irena and Algirdas Juozapavičius.
